Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Reeqip ("we," "our," "us"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using Reeqip, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Eligibility & Account Registration
Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
A parent or legal guardian may create and manage an account for a minor under 18.
By creating an account for a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to all terms and conditions on the minor’s behalf.
The parent or guardian acknowledges that the platform is intended primarily for users aged 18 and above, including any required regulatory checks or verifications.
2. Role of Reeqip
Reeqip is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers of sports gear.
We do not manufacture, own, or control the products listed. All transactions occur directly between buyers and sellers.
We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of products listed by users.
3. Listing & Selling
Sellers must ensure that all product descriptions are accurate and truthful.
Prohibited items (e.g., counterfeit goods, stolen goods, unsafe equipment, restricted sports gear) cannot be listed.
By listing a product, the seller agrees that they have the legal right to sell it.
4. Buying & Payments
Buyers must review product descriptions before making purchases.
Payments are processed via Stripe, PayPal and Manual. Reeqip may deduct applicable fees or commissions.
All sales are binding once the buyer confirms the order.
5. Shipping & Returns
Sellers are responsible for shipping items within the specified timeframe.
Buyers must provide accurate delivery details.
Return/refund policies apply only if mentioned on the product listing or under Reeqip's buyer protection policy.
6. Fees & Commission
Reeqip may charge transaction fees or commissions on successful sales.
Buyer Protection Fee
This fee covers:
- Full refund protection for non-delivery or damaged items
- Secure payment processing and fraud prevention
- Dispute resolution and claim handling services
- Escrow services to protect both buyers and sellers
Buyers have 4 days from delivery to submit protection claims. This fee is non-refundable.
7. Dispute Resolution
Buyers and sellers should first attempt to resolve disputes directly.
If unresolved, Reeqip may step in to mediate, but we do not guarantee resolution.
Reeqip's decision in dispute cases shall be final and binding.
8. Intellectual Property
Content you upload (product photos, descriptions, etc.) remains yours, but you grant Reeqip a non-exclusive license to display it on the Platform.
Reeqip's trademarks, logos, and content cannot be copied or used without our permission.
9. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
- Post false, misleading, or harmful content.
- Circumvent fees or conduct transactions outside the Platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
Reeqip is not liable for any damages arising from product use, shipping delays, or disputes between users.
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of UK.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in 122 Kensington Park Road Notting Hill London, WC2E 9TB.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
By using Reeqip, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
